History of Stewart Girl Ministries
Stewart Girl Ministries was spiritually birthed by God in the early 2000s. The Lord called His daughter, Bernice, to be the earthen vessel through which His ministry would be shared with the world.
At first, Dr. Belt wrestled with doubt, unsure if she was able to carry such an assignment. She did not immediately say yes. But one late night, the Lord spoke clearly and lovingly, reminding her that all she needed to do was say “yes” and He would take care of everything else.
And she did.
From that moment forward, the work of the ministry began guided, instructed, anointed, and sustained by God every step of the way.
The Name
As Dr. Belt sought a name for the ministry, she considered several options. Yet none brought peace. Then, in a divine moment, God made it clear this was His ministry, and He would name it.
Stewart Girl Ministries was chosen to honor her parents, who raised her and her sisters in righteousness and truth. From the womb, she was raised in the church, Woodlawn Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, and taught not only to attend church, but to be the Church.
God declared that everything she learned would now be poured back into His people through this ministry.
The Beginning
After prayer, fasting, planning, and preparation, Stewart Girl Ministries officially debuted on the first Sunday in December 2016.
